Short excerpt from jam session. Analog synthesizers, digital fx, no computer. Instruments and flow:(drums, funky pattern, fx) korg monotribe -> korg kaosspad kp3(deep pad, chorus, distortion) arturia microbrute -> korg ax3000gmixed with behringer q502, recorded with zoom h2n.

This was an experiment running a yamaha tx81z through a korg ea-1. The fm is a grand piano patch decimated and warmed up with analog oscillators. Sampled into an mpc. 44. 1k, 16-bit.

Dark ambient for free use. . 48khz, 24bit. Peace!.

Nlc jerk off without any input is the engine for this simple patch. In my little world i see nlcs chaos modules as a helping hand. I find the though of chaos very pleasing. . . Spring reverb and analog delay are used.

I was fiddling around with an analog synth that went into a peavey km50 keyboard amp and i made this soundit has loads of pitch editing giving it the house-ey feel to it and i think it was an fmaj5/9 chord with extra 6ths and 4ths.

Arp odyssey portamento effect, a single key glide up with a multi-key slide back down.

The engine to the hysterical "melody" is formed by a two lfos and a looping envelope performing an ever changing dance of random or maybe chaos. Zooming in and study waveforms in this sound is interesting. The sound is unedited, straight from the analog modular synth. Quantization of the pitch - nope. . .

Making a switch with logic. Switching between quantized and sequenced cvand random for the oscillator.

I was messing around with my korg volca keys, and i liked this little section. The only problem is that i believe it only recorded into the left channel for some reason. I don't know why that happened, so unfortunately you will have to correct that, but it should be an easy fix in any sound editing program.

Time for electronic minute no 301. A relatively structured sound and patch. It's not exact, not exactly repeating. Sometimes an electronic high-hat sound i heard.

Do not compromise with your hart. Let the modular play. Not for someone, but for you. A waveform exploration led to this graphic piece sound/music/thought.

I'm trying to get some character to my modular sounds. This is a sequence with a sawtooth wave mixed with noise and joined in a vca that can distort a little. It's a vca i bought used. Don't think a new vca of the same sort distortes. I really like that. I little reverb is added to the sound. The sound is analog until it reaches the reverb. Sometime i will buy a spring reverb. Promise. But here, on the internet, the sound is digital anyway.

This is an aif (garage band) file of just good ol' tape hiss recorded from a jvc tape machine (cassette). It's just tape hiss. You can change the freq to help blend it in your recordings. I have the volume on this at a higher level. When i blend this with my digital recordings i turn it down just enough to hear it without it being too analog sounding. Hope you can use it. It's great for soft passes and solo instruments, much like white noise of a studio perhaps.

In the right channel you hear uoki-toki polivoks vcf. In the left channel is the sound of intellijel μvcf. They are playing the same tones. The sounds have the same envelope but respectively vca are also affected by attenuated lfos.

This is a sound effect i generated that simulates the background noise of a vhs tape from ca. 1991. It is basically pink noise at approx. 0. 01 dbs and sawtooth wave at 60 hz, both combined with audacity. It is ideal for adding to video projects on i. E. : sony vegas to recreate the effect of vhs. While i was playing around with some "extreme settings" on my technosaurus micron, this rhythmic structure came out. The bleeps are from the resonance of the 12 pole filter, driven by the lfo.
