A busy highway recording from below the road itself at the onset of a truss. Lots of rumble, white noise, reverb from the boundaries of the ground and the steel and concrete above.

An active gas station filling area, with cars pulling in and out, tanks being opened and closed, patrons, and the pumps themselves making noise as people choose their purchases.

Busy boulevard with traffic running both ways. One direction is crossed with an air hose designed to count the number of passing vehicles. You hear the tires slapping across it as they speed by.

This sound effect was captured by me on video on my canon digital powershot a460 camera, i stood just above the motorway at charing cross glasgow scotland and captured this sound from the jam packed motorway, both sides were busy, i even caught the sound of a police car coming along the hard shoulder. I simply took the sound from my video. Waiting for the bus at a bus stop next to a busy norwegian highway. Recorded in stereo at 24 bit 96 khz with a sony pcm m-10. All my sounds are dedicated to the public domain, and are free to use, no restrictions. Although i really appreciate a message or comment if you use my sound for something interesting. Always fun to hear where my recordings end up :).

Ambient recording of the courtyard in my apartment complex. The are two story brick buildings, next to a main road, border-line highway. The traffic light means that the birds and neighbor's dog start predominant, then are taken over by the rush of traffic as the light changes to green. A sunny day, but clouds are in the distance, as an impending storm is about to roll in. The whining dog seems to share his sentiment about the dark clouds. Recorded with a zoom h6, stereo xy adapter set to 120 degree spread. Set up through a wide open window as to cut down on wind noise.

Just a quick recording before class today. Recorded from a tascam dr-07 mk ii stereo in mp3 192 kbps 48,000 hz, pointed a bit to the sky toward a florida mockingbird about 2 meters away. If you listen closely enough, there's some crows in the bg too. Ambiance sound is the sound of a busy divided highway about 500 meters away. I processed this sound in sony sound forge a bit to remove some of it. Just beware, the sound file contains a slight camera double beep at 9 and 15 seconds, although for student film purposes i don't see any penalty for it. There's also some slight wind noise in the beginning since my clean foot sock didn't cover all of it, but same mind set as above, won't be too big a deal. Here's a video. Http://www. Youtube.
