The inspiration for this track came from a stereo cross-fading delay patch for modular synths i found, created using caustic 3. 2 with my akai mpk mini keyboard as usb-midi controller with a bit of a tangerine dream style.
I tried to remake this sound:. Https://freesound. Org/s/135110/. This time in caustic using modular synth, hpf of course, phaser & flanger. I'll probably try to make it again in 8 years. Very different but still similar.
Basic four on the floor drum loop made with caustic 3. 140 bpm, 4 bars, 44100hz 16 bit. Processed with compression on the kick and mix compression and eq on the master in ardour and ready to go. Very straight forward.
A re-mix of this::https://freesound. Org/s/331180/. Added and echo to the end of the arp phrase, then made a beat in the caustic beatbox, then made a baseline in the modular. Left the stems at the end. √π÷¶∆℅£.
Made this with the fm synth in caustic 3. Just hit record & started turning knobs. Even though its almost a simple synth, it definetly has enough for endless possiblities. // its a 3 iscilator synth w/ a few fm settings.
Dubstep beat programmed with caustic 3 and mixed with ableton. 4 bars at 150 bpm big kick with snappy snare. Reverse snare and reverse spacey crash for extra effect. Busy hi hat pattern. Some gentle eq and mix compression and reverb and slight delay on hats and reverse effects. Ready to go.
