Recorded inside. Windows closed. No radio: disable alarm, open car door, entry, sit down, put the seat belt , put the keys, start engine, start drive in the city (palermo, buenos aires, argentina) and go out the city into the highway. Car: renault clio 2recorder: zoom h6, xy mic on the passenger seat. You can hear the turning light, engine, and the ambience inside the car.

Three boys in a pick-up announce with a megaphone that they are buying used household appliances and other items from the houses on the streets they pass through. It is something very common in the city of buenos aires.

Field recording made at the south side of the lincoln memorial in washington d. C. Recorder is facing the tidal basin to the southeast, with ohio drive and it's traffic in the mid-range. Recording conducted in march 2012 with a zoom h2, mics set to 90° dispersion.

Night-time wide angle stereo recording of manhattan, as heard from across the east river, the recorder was kindly allowed access to the veranda of the riverview restaurant & lounge in long island city and is facing the manhattan skyline. Some noises of the restaurant can be heard in the background, very subdued, the quiet lapping of the east river can be heard in the foreground, and manhattan bustle and traffic on the fdr drive is in the wide range. Recorded in march 2012 with a zoom h2, mics set to 90° dispersion.

Location: tijuana, mexicotime: december, 2016. Riding a route taxi through the streets of tijuana. It's the evening on a weekday and people are coming off work. An ambulance cruises by. Passengers are silent most of the ride until minute 4:40 when the driver stops on a busy boarding zone. Coins jingle when people pay the driver. The door slides open and you can hear people on the street chatting, while passengers get off and new ones come in.

We went to strasbourg to follow an invitation by an photographer to his vernissage! to bad that we got stucked into the traffic jam and arrived while the gallery was already closed! that was really a bummer because the drive took us four hours!lucky that i had my zoom h6 because strasbourg is by far an amazing city with so many street life. It is insane how many little streets with these tiny cafes and all the people around! it is like a magnet and you got sucked in. The french people know how to live life and i recorded in 3 parts of the city to give you a nice ambience feeling. This is part 1.

This sound was made by me, i tied down my canon powershot a460 digital camera inside the engine bay of my 1993 rover 620si, and it's got a petrol honda engine, no turbo on this version. I had my video recording on my camera in the engine bay while i was driving. I started the engine up and took it for a drive. I simply took the sound off the video. This is the sound of a viking electric lawnmower in action; mowing a piece of lawn. Today i got my audio equipment. This is my first contribution. When i was walking around today to catch sounds, i met a man who was mowing his lawn. I asked him if i could record him while he was mowing his lawn. He agreed and i was allowed to record him mowing. It's a viking electric lawnmower. Description: a man mows the lawn with an electric lawnmower. He drives the lawn mower over a piece of path to the meadow, mows and drives the lawn mower back. At the beginning of the recording, there is a short question asked if he should start now, which i confirm. The recording is unedited. A diesel flatbed tow truck idles for two minutes, moves the truck into position,backup warning beeps, moves the car back, adjusts the position of the truck once more, extends the rollback tilt-tray, connects the car, winches the car up, retracts the rollback tilt-tray, secures chains to the car, then drives off.
