An xbox one controller's buttons being pressed and mashed, as though playing an action or fighting game, with clear separations to allow use of a variety of paces and combos. Recorded on blue snowball for the super legit podcast.
Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.
A recording of a gas tank filling up and then clicking once the tank is full. Recorded on a lg v20. Better sounding than that makes it out to be. We uploaded this because apparently nobody records their gas and uploads it here.
Rubber bands stretched evenly between drawer handles being twanged, producing a high pitched melodious tone. From an old cassette, recorded 1985. Another upload of the same recording to remove a click from the first few seconds, using the audacity removal tool.
Believe it or not, this was made with a soda bottle cap. I made it for a zombie survival game, specifically for inserting a magazine into a gun, i thought it also sounded like a switch when sped up, so here it is.
I make a lot of my own samples for my music. They are often for use in granular synthesis or manipulated so that they become unrecognizable. I like to make them available for everyone. Enjoy!.
A reversed piano beat loop i quickly made in audacity,. Uses a modified fl studio piano melody sample taken from the open-project 'exoplanet' by eric kauffmann,. Edited and processed in audacity. 112 bpm.
Just a small sound of me crushing a wrapper, then distorting it and adding so scale-shift & glotch. I really like it, sounds like one of those sounds for a ui, like menu hovering(!). ~callum.
