An edited version of pagancow's dorm door open and dorm door close - a large door with an industrial, metal doorknob opening and then closing. I removed a little of the background noise and combined the two files.
Binaural recording of a passing train. This sample starts with the train in mid-pass - i would have liked to have recorded the whole approach, but this was a chance encounter and the audio before this includes the sound of me running to get a better position.

A clothes dryer makes a mechanical noise, because of a cloth which knocks against the edge, making loud noise. Rhythmic and metalic. Here recorded very close, in mono, with h5+sgh-6. Other perspectives available on my profile.
Rather cluttered sound of a kitchen door being closed. Probably a bag full of recyclable aluminum and steel cans hanging on the doorknob when the door was shut.
This was hard to create i used many different types of doors for the close including hatches, fridges, cars, large and small. I layered them with a stretched air effect to indicate pressure.
