I recorded the sound of my wooden, squeaky screen door opening and then bouncing shut with a couple bangs. You can hear the squeak of the hinges as the door is opened, then again as it starts to close. The stretching and retraction of the spring is slightly noticeable. A clean raw stereo recording of about a thousand people chatting with each other. Includes distinct dialogue in american english, iberian spanish, french and other languages. Recorded in stereo on an h4n. The microphone was positioned inside the crowd. Recorded in a big space with huge ceilings--would be suitable for a theatre, auditorium, rally, sports game, etc. , but an experienced editor might be able to make this into an outdoor scene as well. There might be minimal handling noise.

This was hard to create i used many different types of doors for the close including hatches, fridges, cars, large and small. I layered them with a stretched air effect to indicate pressure.

I stopped along a bike ride in order to record the sound of monument creek. In this recording, the phone mic was a few inches above the water, and i was about twenty feet from a set of mild rapids.

5. 1 surround close range field recording of the beach at étretat, a seaside resort in the normandy region of france. The recorder is about 2m away from the surf, the sea is very choppy with heavy waves washing over the pebbles on the beach. Recorded with a zoom h2n and matrixed to 5. 1 surround.
