As usual. . A triple osc was used. I played with the different possibilities. . . Sine, triangle, saw, square waves were used here. It may cause damage on high volume (maybe?). Effects: phaser, reverb. After recording, the entire soundshape was inverted.

Extended recording of myself stomping around in iced-over snow after a storm. Featured sounds are footprints breaking through ice and crunching in the snow underneath, icicles being scraped across the icy snow surface, and bits of ice being thrown across the ice-covered snow surface and skittering away.

Pouring pellets into a bowl: here cat food is being poured into a metal bowl. You can hear the crackling of the bag, the metallic clatter of pellets hitting the bowl. Different temp’s can be found due to the speed in which the pellets were being poured. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg.

Part of the record fx pack this sound is designed to be mixed with the actual record content and provides some of the noises people spent ages to remove!this sound covers the needle being placed on the record a rhythmic crackle and touch of white noise. You can extend the crackle section with the file record noise2 underscore file.

Recorded with zoom h2 to 96 khz / 24-bit wav, encoded to flac with audacity. There's some background noise and touching sounds, possibly useful as foley. The initial pressure jet is distorted, so you'd need to clean it up a bit or use for special effects instead. Enjoy!.

Swiss forest, sunny winter morning, on a small mountain. The cracks and other falls are due to the snow that melt in the sun and fell from the top of the trees. It was beautiful. Recorded in stereo with h5n, and processed a little bit to reduce the wind.

I was trying to record some "wind" noises with my mouth by blowing at the mics, when i came to close and my beard started to crackle against them. I liked the soudn and i actually used it later on some stuff - it's not a great quality recordning but it might interest someone. Sorry for the "windy" sounds at the start. . . This is a recording of a vitamin c tablet dissolving in a cup of water. Recorded with an edirol r-o9 and a nice hydrophone. By lifting the hydrophone in and out of the water some very nice filtering effects where created. This sound has many applications for sound design!.

Striking matches / lighting matches close to mic'. 16 bit, 44,1 khz, mono source & output. No envelope automation, no compression, nothing except a slight hp at 26 hz. Clipping did occur on some transients for a few milliseconds (0-4 ms) on the strike due to mic' proximity (3 inches). Mic' used: samson c01 usb.
