Composed on the sigil scale c, c♯, e, f, g♯, a at 130 bpm. Wav. The sigil scale has 4 transpositions:. 1. C, c♯, e, f, g♯, a2. C♯, d, f, f♯, a, a♯3. D, d♯, f♯, g, a♯, b4. D♯, e, g, g♯, b, c. Left delay (phased) 25 ms.
I initially created this snare using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ) and a single instance of the zynaddsubfx plugin. There were many effects and experiments done before exporting as an audio stem. Next i opened this stem ( single snare hit ) in bitwig studio and made a few copies of it and timestretched and chopped and then joined together in a group track the parts i liked to make the whole sound. Final effects included saturation, equalization , sidechain-limiting and compression.
This is a completely custom kick i made from scratch using a drum synthesizer and also mixed and edited with a waves puigtech eq modeled after the famous pultec eq and a waves puigchild compressor modeled after the famous $30,000 fairchild compressor. The sample rate is 24 bit/48k and a headroom of -6 or 3db i cant quite remember but nonetheless more than under clipping. Recorded from line-in from a 13-year-old boombox tuned to the bottom of the am dial and placed near the computer. You can hear the cd-player starting up, working, stopping, working again. At one point i skip through a track with winamp creating a choppy sound. When the cd player stops you can hear the base computer noise.
Sounds generated by assigning the "wave out" or "line out" signal of the soundcard to a track in fl, and turnin it up. This acts as a digital delay effect with infinite feedback and a very high cycle rate. Basically the noise (similar to pink noise) is produced by the soundcard and the resonance is produced by the low pass filter and the convolution reverb mapping of the waldassen cathedral.
Here is a morphagene reel made out of a free yocto sample pack, originaly released on my label concrete collage. It is a "round robin" sample pack, meaning there is a few hits of every instruments (kickdrum, snare, etc) to make it feel a little bit more "alive" than usual drum mahcine samples. Pretty cool vocal i made for my dubstep track. Maybe someone else might find it useful as well. :)it's loopable, but i left a bit of space at the end for the reverb, so you might want to chop it first, if you're going to loop it. 140 bpm, e minor (probably). Btw i'd be really happy, if you show me what you made with this, but that's fully optional. :d.

Wrote/recorded a free dance tune at 100bpm using ableton live 9. Basic 4 chord song structure (a, e, g, d). Synth and synth sounds are a combination of ableton stock plugins (bass groove, might as well synth brass, celestial pad) and free online synth vsts (dexed, synth1 vst). Percussion section is the ableton stock drum rack with the stock samples. Mixing and mastering used ableton stock plugins. Hope this helps and is useful for your next project. Cheers,bainmack.
