From under a concrete bridge, the sound of cars driving at a fairly high speed over the decking. Unlike some similar bridges, this one does not produce any loose metal clanking at the joints and there is very little flange to the sound as the cars pass.
Flanged loop effect for a high voltage device of unknown origin. Meant to be layered with sparks, sizzles, the bluuue light, etc. Vibrotron_1 is what the machine sounds like on standby. Do not get too close. Vibrotron_2 is what the machine sounds like after you get too close.
Wind noise, made from several segments of white noise with different eq and flange settings, cross-faded to form one short loop. I probably used soundforge's accoustic mirror, but i can't remember for sure. This was inspired by;http://www. Freesound. Org/people/anton/sounds/2690/andhttp://www. Freesound. Org/people/erh/sounds/34338/. . . Two very good wind samples, in my humble opinion.
The source of this sound is https://freesound. Org/people/doomyd/sounds/530580/ - a clean electric guitar open a string. This sound has been processed using the harmonic plus stochastical analysis of the sms-tools package https://github. Com/mtg/sms-tools with frequency scaling and frequency stretching, to give a metallic flange & 2 octave bend effect.
A nineteen second sample of zwar's amazing taurus machine from jeskola buzz with some flanging & reverb added. Created in jeskola buzz. Great for drones & pads.
Amplification at -28,1 to diminish sound. The sound has an effect which turn; a rounded up effect. Retro flanger has an average stall (8,02 ms) and flange frequency (1,58 hz).
Inspired by gutek's 'helicopter. Mp3,' this is a recording of my coffee machine with only a low pass filter and flange applied. Sounds like a distant helicopter.
This is the companion audio to the article "modify your monitor audio" appearing on w1zy's substack account. In it, we hear what happens when you mix through a soundboard the audio from a ham radio transmitter's "monitor" output and a second receiver dialed onto the transmitter's output frequency. When the two are mixed, we hear a heterodyning between the external receiver and the transmitter monitor audio sources. By adjusting the receiver's frequency to that of the transmitted signal, we can zero-beat the two audio sources together producing a "flange" effect derived from analog devices. Non-ham audio enthusiasts might find this clip interesting since it is producing this artifact not through some plug-in, but through use of "legacy" analog equipment.
Created using modulation/flanging with one of felix. Blume's wind recordings: http://www. Freesound. Org/people/felix. Blume/sounds/165526/any compression artifacts you hear in freesound's player will not be in the downloaded version.
A darkpsy riff @ 155 bpm. Done in caustic on the subsynth. Used the fm function obviously. Put a flange & phaser & distortion, 2 delays & a reverb. ۋاقىت ساياھىتى.
4x4 pole allpass allows to have a strident sound and retro ranger allows to have a rounded up and parasitic effect. Caracteristics of retro ranger : average stall = 2,5 ms and flange frequency = 1hz.
Used a micro-cassette recorder to record bells from the naxi village in yunan, china. I'm swinging them around, which gives the recording a flange-like warble sound, exaggerated by the tape recorder.
An old sample. I don't remember if this was made in soundforge or goldwave, but i think it was originally a recording of my voice. . . Some kind of chewbacca-like noise. Heavilly flanged. Oh, and please, forgive the onomatopoeic naming convention, but i like my sounds to look like they sound.
Heavy effects sorta space type of intro then changes into a arena rock 80’s style of riff then some single notes to let the effects ring out (with a hint of slop).
A re-mix of this sound::. Https://freesound. Org/s/440700/. Pitched it down a bit, ran it through a bpf on a low sweeping rate, then through a phaser with a low rate, then a flange, then compressed the daylights out of it. Yeehaw.
Some synth sound i made maybe about a year ago. With actually a really simple soft synth, the fl studio wasp xt. Just got that synth to a certain pleasing setting, then put an lfo high pass and flange and the right amount of distortion. Enjoy.
In honor of my new guru pramahansa yogananda, i searched for a swan sample. Then i added: time stretch, high pass sweep, flange, rotator pann, delay @ 124 bpm,. Thank you guru, namaste.
A rendition of :: http://freesound. Org/people/kkz/sounds/66224/. Just pitched down an octave with another layer 2 notes up so they are modulating plus a bitcrusher with amount going down plus a flange/chorus thing.
I've reset all my licenses to cc0. These are all public domain. I apologize for not responding sooner. I'm just now discovering most of the attention these pieces got. Thank you all who've commented. I'd have remained oblivious otherwise.

il est plus difficile de changer ce qui se trouve a l'exterieur que ce qui se trouve a l'interieur( it is more difficult to change what is outside rather than that is inside )recorded by me with shure sm58 microphone on behringer x32, reverb + flange effect.
Recorded some messages from my phone into audacity and added effects such as phaser and delay. Improvised over top of the messages with distorted tr606 beats.
I recorded the acoustic guitar with audacity, then added the fx with reaper. It is named 5pm because that was the time when i recorded it. In reaper i made 3 tracks of the same recording and added different fx to each one:track 1 contained reverb and flange with adjusted tempo. Track 2 contained a pitch delay doubler. Track 3 contained a resonant lowpass filter - low quality.
Recreating the pitch shift used by pink floyd in echos. Inspired by taking the now retro echophonto its extreme flange edge and tweaking. . . Rendered in reaper with markers at 48 khz 32 bit fp for the beloved morphagene fans out there. Go back in time and enjoy!.
This sound is actually a voice stretched and processed until you hear dinosaurios. Along with multiple flanges & phasers & pitch shifts & compression. The voice is from an episode of cyanide & happiness "señor clean first" when she say 'hey what the hell man. '. Hilarious.
A 10 minute recording using a nokia 5800 xpressmusic with a sony electret condenser mic attachment at aldershot railway station in hampshire, england. Includes the sounds of a class 458 juniper leaving the station and a class 450 arriving and leaving, with several announcements including one about future track maintenance.
