An attempt to fulfill a request with a sample recorded in a living room. Low-volume capture of the tivo bubbles as someone fast-forwards thru the commercials in a recording.
This is a classic hip-hop sound made by playing a snare forwards then backwards, with a hi-hat from the same sample played the same way for added effect. Drum sounds are from an old-school soul sounding drum break i found on soulseek. I created this in ableton.

All i did was cleaned up the annoying ringing noise heard throughout the old version, removed some light hiss and reversed the music to go both forwards and backwards.

A drum loop using one of bandlab's drum loops from the old-school breakbeat pack chopped up and put through an amp, with some fast-forward samples added.
This is the second version without the mechanical bolt. Maybe can be used for bolt action rifles. Made this is ableton live, it is multilayered with the top end of a 9mm and the low/mid range of an ak47. Another carbine sound is faded in after the transients to give more sustain. Two reverbs fade in and out creating a smooth transition and blend. A little white noise is added for subtle sheen and air. All the layers were grouped together into a single band compressor and ran through serum fx distortion and then into a krush distortion plugin for added fatness. A blending reverb was used to glue the sounds into the same space and ran into a final transient designer which is adding a little more snap and punch and clipping the excess transients off. Enjoy.

A phrenetic loop where you can imagine trump is wearing a skinsuit of charlie chapman and making a mess in fast forward. Used an ensoniq fizmo with some compression.
1k generated sine wave, 120ms long. Typical nagra beep that you find between takes on a blooper reel. They used to place a couple of these between takes recorded to analog tape in order to differentiate between multiple takes when fast forwarding.
Basic four on the floor drum loop made with caustic 3. 140 bpm, 4 bars, 44100hz 16 bit. Processed with compression on the kick and mix compression and eq on the master in ardour and ready to go. Very straight forward.

A smith & wesson folding knife, it has a very wide blade for his model. It's opened by placing the index finger on a push-button, while swinging the knife forward. Recorded with olympus ls-p4 onboard microphones.

A high-pitched, metal windchime, sent through some granular processing software. The reel is divided into two, long halves: one with the sound playing forwards and one with it playing in reverse. This means i can easily switch from forward to reverse without tuning issues, simply by applying cv to the morphagene's 'slide' control.
The buzzer sound from a carwash as one cycle ends and another begins, prompting the driver to move the vehicle forward. Basically the standard buzzer you hear in moves or factory settings when something has gone wrong or a sensor has been violated.
Recording of a 1993 mcdonalds 'sound machine' toy's clicking dial as i wind it forwards and backwards. Some squeaking of the plastic as the knob turns. Recorded with a blue yeti usb microphone in cardioid mode. No post-processing. Could be used for a plastic safe sound or winding a toy.

3rd in chromatic order. I recorded 16 notes from a music box. I waited for the motor to loose juice then i wound it forward manually so i could record each separate note chromatically. There are two octaves plus one note. Begins with d and climbs up the scale ending with e.

This unmodified file was generated because i was trying to record bird songs. In swooped this fully-marked police helicopter; the pilot drastically cut back his forward speed and passed slowly directly overhead, just above treetop level. Now that they have my address, i'm suspicious. And more determined than ever to move.
