This is a 10-min recording i made with audacity of the mysterious russian radio signal known as "the buzzer". It can be found by tuning the dial of your shortwave radio to 4625khz. The radio station's call sign is uvb-76.

This is one of multiple samples i have recorded from short wave radio, and should, if i uploaded them properly be located in a pack of more radio samples. This is a field recording of the hacıosman subway. I used my iphone to record this sound. I took this train to go basically everywhere, most of the week. I think the train is called m2 but i'm not sure.

I asked my dental hygienist if i could recorder her cleaning my teeth. I was lying down in the dentist's chair, with a zoom h2 (xy-stereo, 96khz, 24bit) on my belly pointing upwards. I didn't manage to record the scraping tool (that hook), but i did record:1. The cleaning tool (vibrating, high to very high pitches)2. The polishing tool (spinning?, not so loud i think)3. That thing that constantly sucks away saliva.

I wanted to make a very gentle wakeup alarm for my android phone. It's a 25-minute long fade in of a pure 3-khz tone. Created with audacity. I encoded this to ogg vorbis for personal use, but i'm sure you can do this better for yourself (maybe you'll prefer other format), so here you have a quality flac file for source.
