An 8bit text blip, like you would see in an old visual novel. The sound is meant to play as text is being added on screen for a character speaking. Created for an upcoming visual novel/puzzle game called burden of proof.

Mono recording. I used a sinusoïde, and i put an effect to change the height (-31. 000, pitch from a to d#/eb). I put an other effect like the phaser (phase 2; dry/web 128; frequency 0. 4; phase departure 0; depth 100; return 0) and an echo (duration 1 sec, factor of diminution 0. 5).

Lots of variations on glossy magazine sounds; page turns, handling, page flips, etc. Recorded on a sound devices 744t with a sanken cs-1 shotgun mic. Chop it up and use however you like. Mono 24 bit 48khz.

While doing sit-ups in my bedroom - i've discovered that the friction of my back with the floor makes hilarious "fart-like" sounds. I grabbed my zoom h4n recorder - and recorded some. Breathing sound effect i created for a recent production of carries war. I created this using digital synthesizers. I lost the presets to this so i can't say exactly how it was created, but eventually i'll create a new version and describe the process. It's basically multiple layers of very grainy (like sparklers or vinyl) noise processed through filters modulated by some kind of noise.

I accidentally made this in audacity adjusting the tempo of a chime sound effect, but maybe it has uses elsewhere. Sounds to me like a game show "wrong answer" sound effect or a magic spell that fails to cast.

I was just messing around in audacity, doing some things with a party noise maker sound effect, i slowed it down, put some reverb & echo, messed with the pitch a little bit, and got this! it's supposed to be kinda like "trumpets in the sky" and/or war of the worlds inspired.

I made this recording by using a metal shovel and ramming it into the icy snow. The snow has been around for a couple months now and has been rained on and turned to tiny ice crystals. It sounds like it could be sand, grainy dirt or rock dust.
