An improvised stoner riff played on an archtop guitar passed through pharaoh fuzz then through an orange amplifier with overdrive enabled. After that the signal goes directly into the computer. Recorded using an alesis io/2 interface with input set to "line" and gain to the minimum.
This is a heavy rock-riff i thought up and used to play a lot of years ago. It kind of stuck with me and i have worked it out in mmm2006, and it is slightly altered. Hope you enjoy!.
A darkpsy riff @ 155 bpm. Done in caustic on the subsynth. Used the fm function obviously. Put a flange & phaser & distortion, 2 delays & a reverb. ۋاقىت ساياھىتى.
All i did is that i recorded and played a little riff on my violin with my ipad, and then add some reverb, and delay effects in audacity. (very eerie-like, but pretty). This kind of reverb used in the beginning and end of the riff is a cathedral room-like sound, and a few seconds of delay. I used mostly double-stops during the riff. Enjoy.
