My first upload. A stream in the poconos, near bushkill falls, pa. Used a minidisc recorder and 2 small plugin mics. Just eq'ed a bit to take off any low wind rumbles to get a cleaner sound. Hope you like it.

This was a recording taken on a small train riding around the louisville zoo in kentucky, usa. I took this towards the end of the tour, and was on the back of the train so you can hear the announcer quite clearly directing us. Stuck my condenser mic out my window during a rain storm and recorded for a few minutes. Recorded at 48khz with a rode nt1-1. High passed around 150hz and compressed a little to bring up the volume.

I don't remember making this, but i'm pretty sure all i did was run some white noise through bassboost a couple times. It works for earthquakes, distant tiger roars, and other subsonic sounds.

1:56 field recording of exterior daytime environmental windy day in an exposed lincolnshire countryside location, but with mics completely shielded inside a bus-shelter for a less in your face perspective. Mics are pointed upwards into the wooden box roof of the shelter, which has added a somewhat eerie and disconcerting lower mid rumble to the scene. Recorded with a balanced stereo pair of mics and edited to remove intrusions.

I recorded this rainstorm with thunder in june 2021 in grimbergen belgium. The rain fell straight down with little or no wind, accompanied by subtle rumbling in the clouds with the occasional louder thunder discharge. Hope you like it. Use it freely.

I recorded this from a balcony (5th floor) in the middle of a summer day (end of july), using a mid/side set (mkh30 + c480 b-uls/ck62-df omni) into sound devices mixpre3. Not any processing has been added, except a plain m/s to x/y stereo conversion and low-cut filter (30hz). This is a generally quiet atmo, sometimes light wind comes in, some seagulls and other birds are there at times, some construction work happens etc. The traffic noise is present, but in the distant way. Feel free to use it in any of your productions. Not for resale.
