A real small laugh. During a recording, i started laughing for a stupid reason, and ruined the recording. But one good thing that came out of it, was the laugh. I have the full version of the recording saved somewhere(i know where), but i do not believe it is that great. I decided to cut the beginning of the recording, leaving only the laugh.

This is a synthesized melodic contour of a short excerpt of carnatic music. This sound is basically used for a demonstration of the importance of loudness and timbre in melody. The original excerpt from where the pitch was extracted and the monotonized version of this sound will be soon linked here in the description.

This tune is entitled "Matsurika" or "a　jasmine blossom". It came from China into Japan in early 1800s.This is an older version of Chinese folk song "Mo Li Hua".I made this MIDI file viewing an old music book entitled "Gekkin Gakufu" (view the photo at "Mo Li Hua" of Wikipedia) which was published in 1877 in Japan.

I took this recording from my room in a beautiful casa on the main square in santa clara. It was warm and not windy so i could keep the windows open during the storm, and eavesdrop on this little party, which seemed to warm up as the storm did. My recording "fizzy water" is much better than this version. Please use it, not this one. I made a video recording of a glass of carbonated water in a tall glass, using an ipad. Then i played it back and recorded it using a zoom h2 stereo recorder. So it got processed through the different media. It produces a nice fizzy sound that some people will find useful.

This is a smoothly rising shepard tone that i created using adobe audition 3's tone generator. I generated the tone as sine waves in 7 different octaves and mixed the results together. The period of repetition is 10 seconds. (this is a second version in which i removed the phase variance, making the sound monophonic for all practical purposes).
