A single distant thunder has been recorded in the evening on 6th of may 2013, in pécel, hungary by my stereo dictaphone.

Long, rolling thunder and light rain at night in illinois. I think we recorded this with a panasonic hdc tm-700 and an audio technica shotgun mic, the at 897.

Thunderstorm came nearby to the north part of pécel, hungary on 5th of sept 2012. It didn't produce rain onyl thunder. You can hear the loudest thunder - with the guinea-fowls from the neighbour. . .

A digitally created thunderstorm using a yamaha keyboard. The clip last for about 2 minutes. The rain isn't heard until the end and doesn't start until like a minute and thirty seconds in or so and lasts for only about 30 seconds. Recorded with a yamaha keyboard and audacity. My fourth recording.

I opened my window and set the mic next to it during a thunderstorm. There's a thunder clap near the beginning that is loud and peaks the levels.

Rain with light thunders inbetween. At 0:17 a girl ran through the rain. After that you can only hear the rain, thunder & cars. It was recorded indoors so it is a bit muffled. Maybe good for a indoor scene?.

This ambience was recorded on zoom h6 with msh-6 mid-side stereo mic capsule. Recording was edited and decoded. Mic was positioned right in a frame of an open window so that it won't get flood from a heavy rain and pick up much room reflections. My flat where i recorded from was on 4th floor. There was a busy street 50m far from the apartment building itself, a bit further there was a park. Rain at that night was heavy. Also you can hear several heavy thunder hits of various distance throughout the whole recording. Hope this recording will help to enhance the sound of your next project. Recording of a thunderstorm in a narrow backyard between houses, berlin 20. 6. 2013. The wind and rain is whipping the plastic coverings of a construction site at one house, some things fall down from the scaffold. The rain becomes more and more heavy and loud, the raindrops beat down on the leaves of a chestnut tree and the plastic sheets. Recorded out of the top window of the ground floor with a roland r-05 mounted on a tripod.
