This is the ambient noise of a hotel room in the embassy suites in chicago, il. You will hear the general room noise (air conditioner, etc. ) as well as the city atmospherics outside the room (air brakes on trucks, horns honking, etc. ) recorded with the ever-trusty zoom h4n.
This was my first attempt at recording ambiance. There's some pops from the microphone, but i thought some parts could be still usable. Recording at 44. 1 khz/ 16 bits. No process applied.

Recorded with my iphone in an empty classroom that was surprisingly breezy given. . . . Y'know. . . Indoors. I couldn't even begin to describe exactly what i did to that recording, but i do remember manipulating it through audition using lots of weird dynamic processors, eq's, and convolution reverbs.
