Playing with my modular.

A few kicks and snares synthesized a long time ago on a novation xiosynth 25, could be useful for sound-design and sample layering, they have an analog drum machine feel to it.

The day before the swedish election 2018. Yes ,there where was an other version of this sound before. . . Free sound keep suggesting the tag "digital". Wrong! my sounds are made with analog gear. Right, the sound has to be digital to reach you - this way.

Same program as in https://freesound. Org/s/457868/ butthe main clock (lfo_2) frequency is about 1hz. It's a minor scale?! as have split the octave in 5 equal parts. This strange scale sounds like a sort of minor scale.

This is my cat purringrecorded on roland r-26 winth xy mics.

Sample and hold + vcf and manual filter sweeps.

Really simple patch. Cv from nlc sloth to quantizer (doepfer a-156), via attenuverter. Triggers from doepfer a-160(161). But a tone is only generated if there is a change in cv from sloth. Its not 100% generative :-) first there is no cv connected to the oscillators. I connect them one at a time. The noise is also controlled by the same sloth. The analog delay is connected to barton musical circuits (bmc) 4 quadrant multiplier and panner acting as a panner, controlled by nlc jerk off (still a sick name on a great module). The ehh drum sound is generated by bmc decaying analog noise.

Machine composed electronic music - or experimental generative atonal electronic music made with an analog modular synth. I give my synth the prerequisites to create music - and it does - endlessly. I record and pick out some created songs.

Doepfer a-119. Maybe not the coolest module on the market. But i have plans for this little friend. Bought it used. "module a-119 (external input / envelope follower) is designed to allow external audio signals to be integrated into the" (from doepfer home page) modular synth. As delay i use joyo analog delay.

Rumble made with wave rectifier, vactrolfilter etc. . . But a full spectrum rumble!.
