The sound of barking geckos (ptenopus garrulus) recorded in the desert at sesriem, near sossusvlei, namibia. At sunset, the geckos all around us started "barking". It's really more of a chirping sound, made by the males, hiding in their burrows but hoping to attract mates. Recorded with tascam dr2d. .

I especially like to layer on it additionally the sounds of the waves that i put on my page before.
