A small soft explosion.

A collection of a few explosion sounds that i made, heavily inspired by video game explosions from primarily fps games.

This sound was made by popping a cellophane bag and recorded using an m-audio microtrack ii. This sounds really good as a firework or an explosion sound, especially with reverb.

I made this in fl stretching the 909 clap. I stretched it very big and cutted of the silence.

This recording was made from the balcony of the kitchen of my apartment in italy in the province of rieti during the new year's eve where you can hear bangs, people talking from the windows, cars playing, etc. This recording was done with the shure mv88 plus digital stereo microphone connected to my iphone 12 pro.

I synthesized a sound similar to an air raid siren (or any other alert siren) using beepbox. Co.

Cartoon-style bomb launch and distant explosion. Doppler shifting whistle starts at centre and pans to extreme right with fadeout. A muted detonation follows at extreme right - a non-realistic and short explosion. Created with ni fm8 running as a vsti inside flstudio 11 with a touch of fl reverb2. The "projectile" whistle is a soft square wave lightly modulated by a sinewave at 6x the frequency of the square wave fundamental to give it a touch of metallic ringing.
