I recorded this sound at the nagarhole tiger reserve in karnataka, india. The sound is recorded on my iphone 12 pro using the dolby on app. There are unfortunately some minor unwanted sounds in the recording caused by things like someone moving in their seat. But it’s a nice ambient recording to use if you are able to edit around it. The recording was done at 7:30am.

The moment you know you should have been somewhere else. This, my friends, is why they make you put a licence plate on your car. File is slightly abridged for acceptable presentation. Anyway they were looking for someone else, and seemed remarkably understanding. And decidedly amused. . .

This sounds as if it were staged by hollywood, but it actually did happen, i swear! birds chirp away to set the scene, but a beefy thunder roll intrudes. Soon after, raindrops begin to fall as if on cue. Theres a little handling noise click in the begining that is easy to crop out if you like. The recording is unedited. At 1:35 i move the mics closer to the deck so you can hear the splashing. At about at 3:10 i you’ll hear a different timbre as i move away from the rain and under an awning. About 3:45 the rain settles down and the birds start chirping again. Hopefully there are some useful segments in here. Recorded with a dead cat on a tascam dr-05 at 48khz 24 bit, then compressed with “lame --preset insane --scale 10” to make up for the low gain i used (i was afraid a thunderclap would engage the limiter). A field-recording taken at a local animal park (germany). It was an early morning in spring and there were hardly any people there yet. The area, where we sat down, was surrounded by trees. Numerous birds were chirping and crows were cawing. A few farm animals like sheep can be heard in the recording at times as well as a one of the caretakers starting a vehicle in the distance.

This is an a gathering of college students having a backyard get together with a bean bag toss (cornhole) as the primary entertainment. Male and female voices, profanity, and the sound of bean bags landing on the boards. Urban city setting, so occasional motorcycles and trucks can be heard passing, birds and squirrels chirping, dogs barking, kids wailing, and occasionally you can hear a radio playing.

Many find the sound of a prop-plane flying lazily very peaceful --- especially if it is a late summer day against a blue sky on the edge of a forest. Even though i was actually on an outing to record the birds of the deep forest in summer, this plane came right overhead and, well, here it is. The ocassional soft chirp of the birds adds a nice touch. Recorded with my zoom h4n recorder with the internal microphones set on an input volume of 75.

Murmuration in ireland, on the electricity lines behind my house. Must have been at least one thousand starlings. In this you'll hear them tweeting etc and a whole bunch of them flying. Recorded in stereo on zoom h4n. Some low cut filtering used but nothing else. I have 13 continuous minutes of this so if you need more, just ask lol.

Heard a barred owl calling in my backyard. Grabbed my zoom h4n with audio-technica at897 shotgun mic and started recording. Did some minor equalization to soften the higher frequencies and roll off the low end. Crickets are chirping in the background, a few other insects make some sounds. Soft droning of a couple planes flying by and vehicles from a highway about a mile away, but do not overpower the barred owl.

This sound i made with a python script. The script simulates a 2d-network of 13x13 identical masses connected with springs. I 'feed' one mass in a corner of the network with a 'chirp' of 400-2000 hz for one second and the system resonates at its characteristic frequencies. I 'listen' to the resonating system in the adjacent corner. The decay of the sound was build in, but the last half second i edited the volume to zero. The code took a few hours to execute. Tokyo outdoor night ambience. This is a recording of the shinagawa area of tokyo after 1:00 am. Crickets can be heard chirping in the distance, as can cars on a usually busy road. The trainstation is closed, but there is still some activity that can be heard as well as wind and other night ambient sounds. Recording was made on the 6th floor of a highrise apartment behind shinagawa station. 2 mics placed at a 120 degree angle were used. No filtering was used. The only editing done was removal of the beginning and end of this clip.

This is the sound of seagulls, ducks and other water birds competing with gigantic carp fish, and each other, for food on lake mead. It starts mellow and and grows into a full-blown frenzy with lots of calling, quacking, chirping, splashing, thrashing and slurping (from the fish). The hoover dam isn't far from this lake, so tourist helicopters occasionally pass by. I hope you all like it. :).

A sound i made in audacity, basicly a chirp going down from about 500 hz to 20 hz (with a fade-out to limit subwoofer use)and added some ambience by using white noise rumble on the background, also added a slight wah-wah as you might notice. Afternoon rain, a light rain or drizzle. Recorded with my desktop computer, anhp pavillion with vista and realtek audio. Standard microphone. Since the rain wasnot blowing in the door, i could hangthe mike out the door. Audacity was myplatform, with very little processing. This version was recorded with the default amplitude at o db. There is a little thunder now and then,and birds chirping outside, mostlycatbirds or mockingbirds. At one pointone of my neighbors was outside talking,the conversation is not distinguishable. This recording is just over 37 minutes. Since there was almost no wind or breeze, the rain is easy to hear. Thatis when it falls on the sidewalk.

High above our heads and the less pleasant layers of car traffic, budgies tweet and chirp and chitter. Nestling in the crowns of pine trees in various parks across the eu capital, they add a subtropical flavor to brussels' diverse soundscape. Just as most of the city's inhabitants, the ring-necked, alexandrine and quaker parrots came from a different place. Having escaped a zoo exhibit many years ago, they've been eking out a living, adapting to the tempered climate and found themselves a new home. As urban animals they contribute to brussels' exceptional cosmopolitan vibe. (recorded in the park of forest).

These are a series of gunshots that are supposed to resemble a laser sort of weapon, like an alien weapon. To make this, i used a filter that has a vocoder, polyvox, and talkbox, with distortion added. The initial sound i'm making is a chirping with my mouth and the filter does the rest. I think this works well on its own but it should work well mixed in with another sound effect if you choose to mix it. There is no reverb added or environment effects so its very flexible. It's an all synthetized sound, created on audacity. I wanted to recreat a basic emergency alarm, which can be use for cops, firemen or ambulance. I started by creat a track, then i add chirps. After, i duplicated the track and make a stereo of both. After, i copy and stick multiples times my sound. After, i chossed to raise the speed of the track, twice. I also modified a little bit the height. A test recording of a top-loading washing machine accelerating to 1000rpm on its final spin cycle. Note that it's not as high-quality as i would've liked, but i'll try again soon. Recorded with an oppo reno 8 lite 5g phone and edited with audacity. You may also hear birds chirping, which i had trouble editing out with this recording. The machine in question is a fisher & paykel quicksmart 5. 5kg (mw513) running on 240v 50hz power. This machine utilises a "direct drive" bldc motor instead of the traditional induction motor and pulley.

You can hear the graceful chirping of birds, sitting on the telephone line north of my house. You can hear the swift movement of the wind moving around and blowing on the leaves of the tree west of my house in the neighbor’s yard. You can hear the movement of me walking around back and forth in my yard listening to all the sounds trying to hear them clearly. You can hear a car drive down my street going east, the car was very heavy and going very slow.

My mother's house is the keeper of a trend by sligh grandfather clock named bonnie. Each time i pass by it, i admire the sound. I decided to capture it. It's mostly a clean recording outside of the occasional bird chirp or atmospheric sound. Easy to clean up, edit, and loop. Enjoy!.
