I've created an fx on voltage modular to filter and delay samples; i've used it on a sample (foley kick) that i downloaded on sounds. Com.

This is percussion in an empty swimming pool in essen, germany. The empty pool gives it a natural 3-time delay. Recorded with a grundig tape-recorder about 1987. Today (in 2018) the swimming-pool is filled up with sand and is part of a beach-bar.

This sound was recorded with a cm25 mkii condenser microphone, connected to a focusrite scarlett interface. The daw in which it was recorded is ardour and a guitar effects vst was used to add some distortion and delay. It was created with a photoresistor and a led lamp. The microphone was placed pointing towards one of the edges of the monitor, so as not to emphasize the treble and to balance more with the mids. I'm using an analog delay stompbox (guitar effect pedal) to my modular synth. It's fun to overdrive it :-).

Heavy distortion with some ample amount of delay. The very beginning is rather moody and trippy, then it kicks in for a slow arena rock style guitar solo, then some random notes for the ending.

This sound is recorded by knocking the microphone. And then add the delay effect by studio one. Recording at 2015/2/22 in the home studio.
