A scared person’s footsteps as they speed walk through a haunted house/mansion/ride. You can hear the heartbeats in the background to create a sense of urgency and fear. The gator’s dragged out “roar” adds to the environment along with the creaking door at the end.

Loud, high-pitched squeaking noises made by scraping a sharp fork inside a polished ceramic bowl. The result is very unsettling, like nails being dragged down a chalkboard.

Applied a filter to remove unwanted low and very high frequencies. Also corrected the volume level to adjust all four recordings to the exact same level. There are some minor distracting noises - i assume from my shirt while moving the mug over the surface. Also a fan is very faintly audible in the background. Very loud, close recording of an old, partially functional wallensack reel-to-reel tape recorder. Recording includes the tape motor in operation and a piezo mic being dragged across the surface of the tape recorder. The recording has a fair amount of both background noise, and hum from the machine itself.

Dark spooky ring wind godly. Watch out for the blip! i really should have edited that out, but this sample was made by rubbing sound into some vst's using the fairlight mfx3 single frame loop feature recorded onto a mac g3 in a very smoky room very late at night. From memory this was a recording of a stone being dragged, altho a bit hazy as i think i made this sound in 1999.
