We spent the afternoon at the ruins of the abandoned radarstation on the top of teufelsberg in berlin. It had been raining in the morning so inside the whole building there were different kind of drops to record. This is from a different room. Binaural recording with soundman okm`s and a h4n. I had read that some bluegrass musicians tune their guitar strings to dadf#ad because it makes playing that style of music easier. But what does it sound like? this is the sound of each string being plucked and then an "open drop" strum, with no frets held down. It was synthesized using the program 'sox'. Sound recorded by a small stream while it was raining. The clicks/pops are large drops of water falling from the trees onto the h2 in a plastic bag.

Created using sounds recorded from an old electronic piano. Sound is looped and ready to be dropped in a sampler or edited for further use.

My friend "pouring out" coins, onto his couch, from a paper tube he had collected over the years.

This was recorded with a trustin portable rechargeable 8gb dictaphone. The recorder was held about 7" away for the louder scrapes and drops and no more than 3" away with the softer scraping sounds. Some normalization was used to drop the peaks. The tiles were in the small hall of an apartment, facing an open door. The hall was approximately 3 feet wide and 8 feet long. This is free to use anywhere you may find useful, and i'd love to hear the results.

I made this sound for a small video game project i was working on to simulate a sound for an object by just processing my voice.

The coins drop in, there's the high-pitched digital ping to count them, and then the suck of one of those commercial drive-up vacuum hoses starts.

This effect is total junk, but i'm leaving it because it's beautiful and could be used for a noise, vintage, optical piece.
