Random presets with lfo settings on key parts, and very little other effects used, mostly so this sample can be re-sampled. 110 bpm so it can be pitched up which is usually better then having to pitch samples down.

These are a series of gunshots that are supposed to resemble a laser sort of weapon, like an alien weapon. To make this, i used a filter that has a vocoder, polyvox, and talkbox, with distortion added. The initial sound i'm making is a chirping with my mouth and the filter does the rest. I think this works well on its own but it should work well mixed in with another sound effect if you choose to mix it. There is no reverb added or environment effects so its very flexible. I took a very fast recording of someone hitting some orchestral chimes, slowed it down by over 200% and added some harmonic excitement and equalization in post production. The sound is going through zoom ms-70cdr. I use the "particer" reverb program. It acts like a compressor and limiter too. . . Kills the dynamics of the modular. Nice anyway - or not. . . And i use the ladik r-330 reverb too.

Simple type of chord progression, low gain type of distortion with a mild flange effect. Probably good for a break or intro but could be used for more if broken up. Changes tempo and tone near the end into something completely different.
