Machine composed electronic music - or experimental generative atonalelectronic music made with an analog modular synth. Some results from two machine composition recording sessions. The modular is a machine. I compose the patch. The modular/machine composes the music. I don't want to call it auto composition, algorithmic compositionor generative. This is machine composition!. Quindar sounds were used by nasa for controlling the ground station transmitters that allowed communication with spaceships through the space shuttle era. Fiber optic cable has made quindar sounds obsolete. This sound, at 2525 hz, was generated when the capsule communicator pressed the ptt button on his microphone, and the pitch told the ground station transmitters to start broadcasting. You can read more about quindar sounds at https://www. Hq. Nasa. Gov/alsj/quindar. Html. This sound was generated in audacity.

This kind of noise consists of only values -1 or +1. This produces the maximum energy for the least peak to peak amplitude. The algorithm for this noise was created two years ago by myself in c++, as an imitation of noise generators in supercollider 2.

Today i'm supposed to play with my modular, or anything. As long as i'm not disturb the boys watching gremlins down stairs. . . Okay. I put some modules out for sale. Made this. The sound is generated by self oscillating vcfs. I love sinus wave. I will sell my triple oscillator now. It does not have sinus wave! the randomness is generated to old fashion way. I don't have any fancy random trigger modules. Bla bla bla. . . I stop there.
