This is a recording of my old antique clock. I recorded this using an ipad microphone so it may not be best quality. Near the end of the recording, it strikes 2 o'clock. If you hear some bump or tapping sound, that is because my around moved around and bump the door of the clock.

Formatted for use in the make noise morphagene. This reel was used in the iterative morphagenetics: clocking and shifting video. It consists of one beat-oriented splice and was created with stock sounds in ableton live.

I just took my alarm clock radio and played with the am tuner and got some pleasing results. In the beginning it tunes in into various stations while coming towards the end its very errie with static and a wobbly tone. Feel free to use this for your own project. This is the sound of a very large clock ticking while it's hanging on a wall in a room. I recorded this with the built-in microphone of a lenovo laptop.

Old english wall clock beats 5 o'clock with brass hammers on steel strings.

Assymetric ticking noise. Sounds like the ticking of an analogue counter. A single clock tick was placed on two seperate tracks in order to control the time interval between ticks. One of the tracks was pitch shifted to create the sound of two, slightly different ticks. Both tracks pass through a tight chorus filter and a delay tap to recreate a slight sense of springiness and rattle as the "counter wheels" tick over. Created in flstudio with one audio clip, fruitydelay2, fruity fastdist, fruity parametric eq 2, fruity chorus and equo.
