New zealand native bellbird (korimako). Recorded on kapiti island, a bird sanctuary on the west coast of the north island, nz. Recording was made at some feeder stations set up for the native stitchbird (hihi) but it seems that the bellbird was the predominant species on the day. This is in a light forest setting with a large number of birds moving around calling.

The staten island ferry "molinari" on final approach into st. George, staten island, late in the afternoon on april 04, 2021. The recording was made from the rear port side of the upper deck (where people are supposed to be quiet, but clearly don't obey the rules). Although the ambience is the in the public domain, the docking announcement over the pa system may need to be licensed through the dot. This is a large shed housing a hundred goats owned by a local cheese producer. It's an autochthonous goat breed called 'cabra palmera' (goat from la palma island). Listen to their bells. You can also hear them bleat, even munch some straw if you pay attention. . . Alongside with a chatty rooster. Recorded with a sennheiser cardioid dynamic mic onto a sony pcm-d50.
