A suspenseful riser made from a wet mix of a rate-shifted bed frame being hitted and reversed after it has been "glued" or rendered as is, producing a deep, "mega-marvin" similar sample. A sample that was created from utilizing chromatic tones, stretching, reverb and the use of the wet/dry filtering to get the mix "just right". If you aren't aware of what the mega-marvin is. Mega-marvins are essentially instruments containing extremely heavy string, woodwind and varying density of materials that generate strong noises, trailing ambiances and brass-like sound qualities quite suited to the horror genre, generating a daunting and sorrowful sounds. Very fascinating stuff, look it up if you can - they're big and quite technical.

Just tapping things around my desk with a screwdriver and jingling the loose change inside a glass jar. I had the mind to use all of the sounds in this file for a kick/snare/hi hat drum rack in ableton live - hence the ranges of frequency from low (jar thumps) to textured highs (loose change) and high (taps. ) i hope these come in handy, please enjoy! - vanszi. I've put this sound as public domain (cc0) so i (and you) don't have to fiddle with figuring out the minutiae of various cc licenses. Go crazy! use it for anything you like, but do drop me a line and tell me how you're using it! i'd love to hear. Dropping a metal finger band ring 3 times onto my wooden dining room table. Could be interesting for musical applications e. G. Textures in a drum loop, or even foley work. Recorded at 24bit 48k into reaper on a macbook promicrophone: zoom h4n through the onboard stereo mics. Processing: only a gentle highpass at 50 hz.
