I was filling a giant plastic bucket in the kitchen full of water using the hose attachment. I tried let the water hit the bucket in different ways to change the acoustics of the sound over time. If you can use this, go nuts - i'd love to hear anything you can do with it.

September 19, 2020 shenzhen, china tested the air raid system. Sorry for the background noise. I was standing on a city street on a rainy day and the cars made a lot of noise driving through the wet streets. I'm not sure if they do this test every year but i do remember they did it last year. I'm also not sure if this is province wide (guangdong) or maybe even country wide. The government let us know about a week earlier that they would do the test. If they let me know one day or even better one hour before the test, i may have been able to get to a quieter area for a better recording. There were some tests earlier with longer tones but my recording had even more background noise and this was the best one.

Recorded using a pair of rode lavalier microphones from a loft window. The hail stones were hitting the metal flashing (i think that it what it is called) around the window. A nice spring soundscape of birds in deep woods. I set my recorder on a sand-bar in the middle of a nice-sized creek, turned on the internal mics on my zoom h4n and just let nature do the talking. Recorded around 11 in the morning on a cloudy 71 degree day.

I opened a water valve that squeeks a lot. The hose it fed lives inside a large open air garage and i sprayed the concrete with it. I did short bursts and also let it trickle out after i turned the hose off. Curious what you guys do with this sound! please comment :).

I let off fireworks inside a silo. Unfortunately the best audio i got was from the gopro inside. Electric and noisy sound that evokes bad radio transmission or hard drive problem. It was created by the pressure of a iced tea bottle, which let a small air stream escape through the neck. (lot of noise cause the sound was really low). Zoom h5n + sgh6 mic.

A fire alarm beeping at 3:00 am. It decided to beep, so i decided to publicize it and let the world hear it's voice. This was recorded in an apartment complex with the fire alarm just outside the door. It always does this at random parts of the day, and it's not that annoying but, it happens.
