Using my iphone 6, i recorded myself walking through the woods. Steps are fairly quiet at some times and louder at others as i encounter dried leaves.

Walking through some leaves and then onto the sidewalk. The sound of something like a generator or heater in the background. Please credit the sound and tell me in the comments if you use it.

A peaceful fall soundscape of the swelling of the wind as it blows through the leaves of the cottonwood tree, plus, the melancholy sound of some blue jays calling out -- to me blue jays are the iconic sound of fall. Recorded using my handy zoom h4-n portable digital audio recorder and my rode nt-g 2 shotgun microphone. Enjoy.

It's not rain but sounds like rain - fog and damp settling in the trees as a breeze blows. Recorded in the fields above my home in the fog and damp - so sounds amplified and 'hollow'. Recorded using a sennheiser mke300 'shotgun' mic. Cropped in audacity; and saved as aif file. Rustling leaves can also be made out. Feel free to hash it, mash it and trash it. Use it as you wish. Recording of wind and rain in a storm in south uk, 28th oct 2013. Wind can be heard blowing through nearby woods and leaves rustling. Dripping of rain from the eves of the house. Mostly white noise hissing with volume rising and falling. Recorded using a canon d550 out the window/door. The files were edited to remove wind when it directly blows on the microphone.

One of my favorite sounds is that of leaves skittering across a street on a crisp fall day. . . This, however, is elusive and tricky to record. However, here is a recording that i made this past friday october 19th, 2012 in a small town in southern illinois. It's not perfect, but i'm happy with it. Recording made at night as a cold front is moving in, using a zoom h4n recorder and my trusty rode n-tg-2 shotgun microphone. Enjoy. Kvgarlic.

A recording of the creek mühlgraben in the bavarian forest on a trail from the village rettenbach to the peak schopf. Occasional birdsong can be heard, as well as the rustling or falling of leaves in the wind. The recording was taken at an idyllic spot where the small creek flows over pebbles and around rocks. The recording was made on 18th october 2022 at 11:52 am with my huawei p10 lite, no additional processing was applied.

With recent heat waves, we've had some pretty intense thunderstorms here in france. I captured that moment in my backyard the other night. 24 / 48 amb sound. Around -35 lufs int. Spaced omni, about 30 cm (uši pro w/ windbubbles) + mixpre-6free to use in any project.

Autumn is here and, to me, one of the most soothing of fall sounds is the wind blowing through the leaves of one of my favorite cottonwood tress, along with the lazy, nap-inducing sound of a propeller-driven plane slowly floating through robin-egg blue skies. This recording may sound a bit raw, because of the wind, but, i think it is nice to listen to. This was recorded using my handy zoom h4-n recorder and the microphone that i used is my trusty rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone.

It's the sound of a subway train entering the station "frankfurter ring" in munich. It's a new type, modern subway train. You hear somebody walking towards a door pulling a trolley case. Doors open, announcement comes, doors close, train leaves.

An obnoxious black crow calls as traffic passes and wind blows through the fall leaves. The leaves clatter on the pavement and a second type of bird with a higher pitch call joins the party, then another.

Walking near water, couple sounds of bugs humming.

One morning i was walking my dog it was very windy. I heard a tree that had fallen several years ago, make a squeeky sound towards another tree. I used the sound on old footage on a wooden-boat.

Autumn forest wind. Heavy, fast gusty in tall pine trees. Some birds and raindrops. Soundscapes of natural white noise of moderate intensity. Some are stagnant or static and with few birds. The presents of the colourful red and yellow dry leaves that is still on the trees, creates the noise of the wind with rustling whispers. Is a constantly form of natural white noise that is always changing and evolving. These recordings is from my third attempt. I think it is very difficult to record the “spirit” and unique sound of the wind. This is pure natural wind sounds (no layering, no post-processing, no synthesizers). Originally recorded at 24 bit sony dat tcd-d7 on a sony ecm-909 microphone. Recorded in sweden september of 2007 in a wet cold beautiful colourful forest, with all kind of trees, far away from any traffic or human sounds.
