Recording of a windy winter morning in residential ontario. Wind-chimes can heard, as well as birds chirping. Heavy sound of wind in nearby trees can be heard. Recorded on an h2n zoom recorder, using the m/s raw setting. Decoded, and side channel brought down 5 db.
Wet peas dropped in a glass bowl. Recorded through audacity with an audio technica a2020 microphone. I reduced some backround noise and sent it through a high pass to reduce low frequencies.
Running through puddles. Recorded outside with a zoom h2 in front and rear stereo. This file will match with another of the same name, but the other side.

Rain and thunder outside my window. You can hear the water dripping off the roof into puddles on the ground. Recorded on a windows x8 phone and left as-is. If you use it, shout-outs welcome: production-now. Com.
This is a 2 bar 120 bpm bassline with one dry and one wet play thru. The effect on the wet half is a simple filter morph, raising the cut-off on a low-pass filter thru-out the loop.
Recorded in my bathroom sink, water drops dripping into some water. Recorded on a tascam dr-40; cleaned up in audacity. If you use it, shout-outs welcome: production-now. Com.
Small plate being put into water and pulled back out again. Would work well for small objects coming out of a sink, pool, tub, or shower. Drip doesn't last very long- very subdued. Quiet.
I believe i recorded these with a sound devices 702 and a neumann rsm 191 stereo shotgun. They are long car bys on a quiet road. Lots of distance to my left and right so you get some nice long singular car bys. Maybe one or two instances with a multi car pass. The roads were wet when this recording was done.
Various water movements in a bathtub to simulate bathing. Includes some short heavy splashes. Originally recorded for a short film where one of the characters takes an off-screen bath. Recorded (if i remember correctly) with a sennheiser mkh-416 microphone into a sound devices 302 mixer.
Running water into a bathtub. The faucet is audibly turned on and off at the beginning and end. The temperature of the water is tested at several intervals resulting in some variation to the water sound. Individual drips can be heard after the water is turned off. Take 2 of 2. Accidently made this watery sound and it kind of speaks for itself. . . (you do not need to credit me in any way!). Leave a comment if you have any suggestions!. Thanks for reading!.
Our expresso machine making a latte. You can hear it start up, fill the mug, as well as the milk whipping part of it softly run in the background. There’s probably some background noise to this because i was making breakfast. It can get pretty loud i was recording up close.
