Based on corsica_s's "ding" (freesound 91926). Slightly altered the end and doubled the beginning width audacity.

Production step :this sound is from a sound recording of a key hiting an iron bar. I take just one sound from my reccording and copy/paste in a new track. I amplify the sound and do a low pass filter. I copy paste my track and create another one just above. I move this new track for create a gap between the two tracks. On the second track i supress some of the beat for create a rythm. On the second track i change the pitch, for making a sound more high-pitched. Description :this sound looks like the ring of a bell tower. The rythm change every two bars who makes him unique and not settled. This sound is, for me, a reference of the track begining of dark techno music. Typologie de schaeffer :. This noise is ringing and squeaky. I picture this being used in a trap song of some sort.

I'm trying to create a sound that resembles captain america's shield from the marvel movies. I took a recording of a metal garbage can ringing and brought it into iris 2. I cut the attack from the envelope and added light amplitude sine wave modulation. I also set a short decay. I also layered a clean sine wave underneath the recording sample in order to give the recording more umph and body when it resonates. This is the base of captain america's shield. Layer this with metal impacts and sub sonic stings and you're all set. Please post a link if you use this file. I'm excited to see what you can do with this!. This is the sound that myself and others agree is what you hear when a loud noise makes your ears ring. Why this particular frequency? i don't know. It's just a simple generated tone--you can loop it to make it longer.
