I came up with this melody while testing my new korg kronos 2. This playing style is common in the balkans.

A female voice whispers "come back alive" with a few different emotional tones.

A "wah wah" sound produced using the right hand in the bell of a horn. Makes a great comedic effect for "fail" or "you lose" situations. Notes: f4, e4, d#4. Recorded with a zoom h4n placed about a metre behind the bell.

I took blimp66's "sad and silly vocal tune" and pitched shifted it a half step lower, and added danke's synth string pad loop, which i also had to lower the pitch on, all to make the perfect background music to mr. Lima "thethanx" brattleboro's poem "you are what you eat. " i checked off the explicit content box, cuz i'm not sure if the poem is actually appropriate for minors, even though it doesn't really have curse words in it. You decide for yourself. A stark recording of a bunch of northwest winds whipping through a small town. This was recorded in december 17th 2013 during the height of the frenzy of the holiday season. I think that it why i enjoy this recording so much -- the lonely yet comforting desolate wind in contrast to the frenetic sensory overload that the holidays can sometimes be. The wind chimes are a nice touch too. Recorded on my front porch using my zoom h4n recorder and it's internal stereo microphones with the record volume on 80.
