Travelling from prospect park to parkside station in flatbush, brooklyn. Train is almost empty, no passengers talking. Audio starts in the car, announcements are heard. Sounds like space ambience/a sci-fi space station. Did this today while messing around in audacity. This sound was created by blowing into a microphone while slowly changing pitches. Afterwards i slowed down the sound, added the baseboost filter, and lowered the pitch of the sound. Feel free to use this with or without giving credit to me, i really don't care. It literally took me 2 minutes to make.

I stood on the platform at the montrose l station with a sony minidisc and recorded the entire process of a nyc subway train coming and going. Low noise, though you may wish to use a high-pass filter as there is so much bass in the material.

These are samples from the new korg electribe emx2 music production station not the best recording quality but some nice sounds anyway the weird naming is due to the autoslice function in renoise wich i used to separate the samples from a one shot recording.

A recent visit to london and i recorded these sounds with my iphone4 for a project, they aren't the highest of quality (limited by the mic quality on the phone) but they give a good indication and could probably benefit from some eq to make it sound better.
