Sound from near my flat (great barr birmingham uk) at around 4am. There are various bird sounds within this file aswell as being able to hear the m6 motorway in the distance (i did try to accent this by pointing the mic in different directions). There are also 3 types of footstep sounds, grass, dirt with stones, concrete slab. My wind shield isnt the best so hopefully you can find some use of the sounds!.

In this sound i am leaving the office, opening a set of doors and walking outside to the sound of rush-hour traffic going by. You can hear the sound change from the reception area indoors to the loud outdoor sound of traffic. This was recorded in-person with a tascam dr-40 stereo recorder. A second attempt at recording the deep mud i keep finding myself walking through each morning on walthamstow marshes. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics (connected to a bent wire clothes hanger and positioned about 30cm above my feet). Processing: normalize -1. 0db, low cut filter 100hz, minor noise reduction to reduce background traffic/train noise. I do not require any credit or attribution. I recorded this while searching for farm sounds. On the recording you can hear footsteps in the grass, then the opening of the latch in the gate to the field and then further steps. This short recording was made during a sound search in the scotish border area of scotland. I recorded on the zoom h5 handy recorder, i used superlux headphones.
