I suppose you could say this is a bit science-fictiony. Kinda like background noise if you were alone in an abandoned space station or starship with the sound of machines and whatnot around you. This is an attempt to recreate the sound of a gunshot. At a distant and medium distance. The sound consists of two layers. In the synthesis, white noise with different filtering by layers was used. Reverb was not used. The final processing is equalization and a bit of overdrive.

Here's a bongo track i performed and recorded that was used in an ethnic style tribal track. You can drop this on the timeline at 120 bpm. It's an 8th note triplet feel in 4/4 time and it will line right up. Plenty of good stuff to pull from here. Free for all to use as you please. Enjoy!.

I recorded the end of a rain storm with water running off of the house and multitudes and species of frogs in the background. Testing/documenting my bartonmusicalcircuits (bmc21) full wave dual rectifier. "this is an all analog synthesizer module used to alter the timbre and create new harmonic content. " using the fact that it's a dual. 2 sinus waves through both of the rectifiers, through a filter and a little spring reverb.

This is a bass sound, not tuned but it is a perfect loop withouth clicks. It has no panning effect - i will do that on another sample. It is not tuned - use a program that tunes the samples to tonal. You must use it only in one octave from c5 to c6. In other octaves sounds not like a normal bass.
