The ambience takes place in a forest near madrid, on october, 2015. The sound is the reproduction of footsteps of a runner approaching. The effect that is produced is like a doppler effect, but i didn't change the recording. I recorded it with a zoom h4n. The sound can be used as a background resource. I wanted to capture tramp of feet on gravel moving away, as a typical sound to be used in stories.

I recorded the sound of my dog's collar using a zoom h4n recorder and a rode m3 microphone. This would be a good sound used in the background in an outdoor scene. I can imagine this recorded noise starting off soft and gradually getting louder to indicate a dog walking by before it softens up and gradually trails off as the dog gets further and further away.

This is a tesla coil with a discharge that sounds muck like an old style 'stick' arc welder. For the technical it is a tesla coil that uses a static spark gap, while high-voltage-discharge-2 clip uses a rotary gap giving a different sound altogether. Gorgeous sound of two vintage british diesel locos pulling a 13 carriage train. Recorded using the built in mics on a cannon powershot g15 then processed to try and remove as much wind noise using izotope ozone in m/s mode, (much of the wind noise was in the side channel).

A solo violin sample from edirol orchestral was used a base, using pitch bend and then layering against pitch shifted copies of the original. Then lots and lots and lots of reverb and maybe other effects. I spent way too long on this for no certain outcome but actually it was perfect for the radio drama i was theoretically producing it for.

The soundscape is created by using behringers pro-1 and crave. I recorded into logic via a yamaha mixer and steinbergs ur22 mk1. In logic i destroyed the sound completely with a bunch of effects. Effects used: space delay, microphaser, a vocoder and of course my beloved bitcrusher. Did some equalizing too.

For the 2021 production of christmas carol i wanted to add some special effects. To create a ghostly voices saying ebenezer scrooge i recorded 10 different cast members, then i used audacity to add a little reverb and filter the voice using the frequency transform of a recording of wind. Then i played the voices while the wind was blowing.
