Wild parrots started flying in and landing on the trees along mission bay in san diego on a cool, cloudy day. I walk around and catch some individuals and groups. Sometimes they fly overhead. I did my best to minimize footstep sounds and wind noise. Mostly, i did a good job of that. No. 2 at about 2:35 there's a nice group after a long silence, so don't quit beforehand. The stereo mics add to the liveliness of the sounds.

Single gunshots with three different guns, 9 mm, 7,5 mm and. 22 mm. All recorded at close distance with an sony pcm m-10.

Some trilling and clucking from the starlings as well as a dog barking in the distance.

A low but fairly clean recording from a small park of starlings scavenging in the trees and grass. There is a low-level hum from nearby water and urbanity, and a train whistles in the distance then its rumble can be heard.
