I covered the metal with my finger to change tone of the song. The song played on the music box was called "close to you". I left the recorder locked and unattended in the car whilst we went and did a bit of shopping. It was raining, breezy and the car was parked under a tree in a busy city centre car park next to a main road. You can hear cars passing at different speeds, the rain on the windscreen, doors opening and closing and muffled, distant voices. Zoom h1, internal mics, 50hz high pass at 6db/oct to reduce rumble.

I'm back with another binaural. I am attempting to capture the sounds that remind me of the places i have visited. This is a recording of fuertaventura, in the canary islands, inland in the desert, morning with the wind blowing the sand, desert mountains all around just like the wild west. I upgraded my binaural mics to roland cs-10em from my homemade ones. I'm happy if you can notice the difference. I like that they are combined mics and earphones with little windbooms.
