I went to an auction last week, and recorded some sounds with my zoom h4n. The auctioneer is fairly close, but not close enough that you don't get any echo. Several cars drive by. People yelling "yep!". Loopable.

Created in audacity by recording 4 strings of a violine, slowing down tempo, boosting bass frequencies with an equalizer and finally paulstretch. Silence has been truncated and endings are faded. Recording of city ambience from my apartment window at night. Recorded and processed at 24bit 96khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else.

This is the ambience of a normal working day. As you can hear, there is normal things happening. Like a telephone going off, writing, typing and all that other stuff that you would probably hear on a normal basis. Actually. . . More like a stereotype.
