A rubber nut shaker "roll" recorded for about 7 secnods on a fairly cheap mic, noise removed, and amplified to max volume without distortion.

Just makes your ears hurt, doesn't it? could be great for something like a machine having a complete meltdown, or a robot going haywire. Created by taking a stock sound effect of guitar plugs being pulled and distorting, reversing, stretching, looping, adding phaser, flanger, vibrato, tremolo, i can't even remember what else, like there's no tomorrow. While recording narration on my blue yeti microphone, the cable came loose in just such a way that it started glitching and converted everything i said into weird techno music. In the radio drama big data, it was used to represent the end of the internet. You are free to use it in any way you like, but it would be super funny if you credit it to "broke yeti" as though that is a real band and help me confuse people.

Was mucking around in audacity and made a cricket chirp. I used the generate chirp option and distorted it. It would fit well in a night-time or summer scene.

Custom-made samples of gunfire using foley and sound engineering - smashing of bin polymer lids layered on top of each other with varying amounts of hard distortion and compression.

I was tried to make a tape loop, and this is what i got. For those who haven't tried, it's very difficult to make a tape loop. This one broke after two loops, so i'm lucky i recorded it!.
