This is a "recreation" of the sounds heard at the beginning of the "alice in wonderland" superbowl tv spot. I used jobro's cinematica 7 in reverse and timbre's bass drum and discordant bells. The ticking sound i made by tapping a pen. I recorded the full "ticking track" (up to :17 in the spot) but didn't have the string hits to make it sound good.

A kind of a scary bit of music i made in garageband for something called victors crypt. It's a big giant bass-in-your-face that sets the ground for this tune. If i made a movie with open space shots, this would be my background. It is originally a rubbing sound, recorded on a zoom h2, then filtered and slightly stretched. It's great as an ominous background sound.

A one-take recording of someone trying to do a dutch approximation for a suspenseful audio drama, i tried to clean it up as best i could and final form will be cleaned up/lower volume/panned out to sides. The only microphone i had access to was a sansa zipclip mp3 player. Apparently this is german!.

Might be useful for gabber, dark ambient and soundtracks. Created using a rainstick sample mutated in audacity with paulstretch and loads of effects.

One take dark ambience created with an eurorack setup. 3x disting wavetable oscillators morphing slowly. Valhalla reverb added in post.

A solo violin sample from edirol orchestral was used a base, using pitch bend and then layering against pitch shifted copies of the original. Then lots and lots and lots of reverb and maybe other effects. I spent way too long on this for no certain outcome but actually it was perfect for the radio drama i was theoretically producing it for.
