A slight improvement on my inception-sound. Wav , created using lmms, again 2 instances of zynaddsubfx and now also 2 instances of sf2-player with a trumpet type sound. I also used lowpass filter.

Released in 1989, the ensoniq vfx synthesizer was ensoniq's early take on wavetables, called transwaves in ensoniqs' perlance. The machine was a digital six oscillator hybrid rompler and additive with several of the waveforms being wavetables. Modulation settings allowed you to scan thru the waveforms for evolving sounds such as this pad. The vfx-sd was much the same synthesizer, but added a sequencer.

Moog grandmother, plucky sequence in am, 90bpm. You could make loops out of it, as the whole sequence was digitally clocked. Some interesting play with noise, filter, pulse width and the internal spring reverb of the synthesizer. Recorded through an ssl superanalogue preamplifier at line level, uad-2 apollo 8 adc. No eq, no compression. Mono file, 24 bit 48 khz.

An instrumental piece i made in garageband for something called victors crypt!. I combined a beat i made on a drum machine with one i made on sampled drums to make it really swing. I added a cocky simple bassline to build more sounds to. Strings, horns and synth sounds were added as well. . . . Could be useful in anything cool, intro, outro, game, dark, eerie, spooky, creepy, scary, horrific, mysterious, crime-ish, thrilling or whatever comes to mind. This file has two different wavetable sets (from waveedit website), spliced per wave and saved in morphagene format. Once loaded, you can skip waves with the shift button, create a two voice synth, morph between l/r channels (e. G. Rain wind and thunder : rain with heavy thunderstorm outside a shop (or coffee shop or house or tent) with raindrops on the rooftop or the canopy being mildly sharply audible. Gradually thunder and wind stop towards the end of the sample. Synthesized using noise oscillators (white, color and band) in thor in propellerheads reason.

I recorded one hour of machine composition. I did not listen to it. I did not open the file in audacity. I told my fb fiends to give me a number between 0 and 57. I got 42 (what else). This sound is minute 42 to 45 from my one hour recording. The rest is deleted. Gone.

Decided to do an exercise from "the book of bad ideas c 2. 0". This is exercise 1. 3 just intonation. Nice. Then i start to turn knobs and get modular mayhem. . .

Another one with 1 looping envelope and 2 vclfos in a dance. I start the recording with the looping envelope in non looping mode. After about 33 sec i switch to looping-mode. Records and hope that a pattern should emerge. So, what do you think? one more time i switch looping mode off and then on. Cool technique.

Sloth (lfo) to vclfo is the "engine". Triggers chain reacting function generators"boom/booiing" trigered "by" logic - nor i thinkjupiter storm is one voicejupiter storm also modulates the other voice that goes through wave rectifyingjerkoff modulates jupiter storm, a trigger goes back to jerkoff and jupiter is modulating it self. . . Noiseno hands. . .

A short, gently alarmed sound i made for negative user feedback events in apps and games. I used native instruments' massive, starting from a patch i originally authored for synthesizing parrot chirps! this sound might also be useful for more generic button duties.

This sort of kickish type sound is one of my experiments with my model d. The ones near the end sound the kickiest and there's a nice filter sweeping as it goes along. They'll probably be best shortened a bit but, hey, it's up to you. If you like, please rate. I created this sound using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ) using various ladspa effects and layered a few zynaddsubfx synths, with some automation to tame the fall off's by automating the volume faders. Enjoy :).

Another very old production, i think this one's from around 2009 even!. Using the reverb of a chord i made on my guitar i created a drone-y, washed out sound. Added some subtle bitcrushed drums, cymbals and a vst synthesizer plays some notes to fill it out a bit, and a dark brooding bass-like instrument pulls up near the end of the track.
