24/48 mono recording of the sound of a fnx. 45 acp being shot slowly in a gun range 9 times. During the recording there are a couple shell casing that can be heard hitting the floor. There is a long break after the final shot before the target is recalled on the automatic rail system. There is a slightly echo-y natural reverberation to the gun range. Other than that the recording is very quiet in-between shots and each shot sound was allowed to dissipate before another round was fired.

I made this sound by splicing together several weapon sounds. This was made for a creature in a game that shoots its teeth out of a gun made of bone.

This was made using my normal usual process for gunshots from scratch. I also added in my airsoft p229 to give it a more live authentic feel.

A rifle being dropped on the floor 3 times. Very metallic-y sounding drop sound with tons of bass. This one was sort of a happy accident. I was recording some ak foley with an airsoft gun i had when i accidentally dropped it. The sound it made turned out so good that i ended up using it for this. This is an attempt to recreate the sound of a gunshot. At a distant and medium distance. The sound consists of two layers. In the synthesis, white noise with different filtering by layers was used. Reverb was not used. The final processing is equalization and a bit of overdrive.

Sound effect for a saw used in our game.

This is from a recording session trying to create laser weapon sounds. I just used the same technique as ben burtt used in wall-e (with the slinky and the contact mic). This is unprocessed, no eqs, compression, reverb or anything was added. I used a long piece of curled up aluminum wire which i hung from a tall structure at my house and the main object i used to oscillate the wire was a drum stick. For the recording i used the blue icicle and recorded into reaper. The contact mic is my own creation from a diy i found online (roughly €5 to make).
