Bird song recorded in my back yard. One particular bird with a quite complex song steals the show. Includes moderate background noise from distant traffic.

The bird seemed to be responding to a particularly bright light in the vicinity hence seeming daylight or even 'dawn'. Recorded adhoc using an iphone!. Cropped in audacity; and saved as aif file. A field recording made at the bartlett avenue cpr grade crossing (level crossing) in toronto, as a cpr freight train passes on the evening of 24 july, 2011. Roland r05 sound recorder with roland rs5 stereo microphone.

This is a recording of michigan avenue in chicago from an interior perspective made from the 24th floor facing west. The microphones were spaced apart and placed very close to the window. Interior ventilation/air conditioning rumble is audible. This could be a useful sound for a downtown city office background. Time of recording was 3:05pm.
