Needed a sound for a clay pot being dug out of sand. I used rice and a small ceramic pot for this.

Three ceramic objects - a bowl, a bottle and a jug - clanking against each other, being handled and put down; at the end the bowl is scraped slightly and hit with a metalic object. I recorded the sound of myself blowing into an empty glass kombucha bottle in various ways. I then processed through ableton's simpler, added compression, reverb and eq. Mic: blue yetidaw: reaper + ableton.

First short set with my fingertip, second set with the side of my varnished tin starbucks coffee mug and the third set with the side of a standard 3/8" plastic sharpie marker. According to my synth, this is extremely close to, if not spot-on with a d-natural (294 hz).

I used for this second sound a pencil, a glass bottle and glasses. I typed with a different rhythm glasses and bottle with the pencil. I have then to make various effects: i changed the tempo and the height, added the effect " graphic " and " delay " then a dissolve in closure.

Recorded with a zoom h2, rear mics. The recording was done in a small room with a thinc carpet, there is soem natural short reverb but not too bad. Very little background noise. Converted to flac using audacity.

Pop the cork and pour the drink. Enjoy.
