Used the super awesome vst plug called the delay lama. The greatest simple synht ever. Just put some bit crush on and started messing around. Enjoy.

There's a staircase where my college radio station is and this door slam gets me every time - metallic slam with big, booming reverb. I posted another version that includes an additional door clicking sound at the beginning, it's called "door slam 2".

Field recording out of a window in istanbul. Multiple muezzins are calling for evening prayer. Some city sounds such as traffic, door banging, chatting etc. Recorded with tascam dr 40.

Ghostly female wail. Might be ghosts, or might be deadly sirens calling across misty waters to lure hapless sailors to their doom. Voice synthesis achieved by mixing formant filtered oscillators. Pitch bending is added to the note track to produce a descending, spooky wail.

Tc-electronic novasystem hiss. This is awesome device, but at one moment it was started produce this hiss. First part is line input and second part is guitar (tc it's call "drive") input. In the each part i switch on for a few seconds "mod" pedal on the processor.

I call this 'lunar wind' becuase its an affected sample that i think sounds like a unearthly wind. I recorded a real life wind and processed the signal with some heavy eq and compression. The sound is 100% continuous recording.

A recording of a typical busy, yet peaceful later afternoon sound-scape of a small midwestern town at 5:30pm on a weekday. This was recorded on tuesday may 24th, 2016 using the marantz pmd661 and two sennheiser me66 microphones. . . True stereo recording. You will hear the delightful sound of neighborhood kids playing a friendly - or sometimes not so friendly - game of wiffleball which adds to the reflective nature of this recording. The trilling bird calling towards the end of the recording is the beautiful little, rusty-capped chipping sparrow. These chipping sparrows converge on the midwest around this time and their calls can be mistaken as an insect. Enjoy this summer 2016 recording and maybe it will trigger wonderful, innocent memories of your own childhood.

A recording of, to me at least, is the symbolic sound of the later summer woods, when the blue jays become more vocal. These beautiful birds stay here in southern illinois all year long, and are a welcome flash of color and blue crest once autumn begins arriving. Now, i have always thought this call of the blue jay is not the prettiest or melodic at all; in fact, hearing the call of a blue jay can be a bit unnerving. . . But, to me, it is symbolic of the " wild " ness of nature. . . One of my most melancholy nature sound. . . This piece is a sound-sculpture of a weather effect commonly called the beast from the east in the uk. It is based on a longer piece by me called frozen kaos. This was constructed by me using only copywrite free sources of sounds, musical(ish) pieces and natural sounds. All of these were assembled and processed using the free software package audacity™. Most samples have been filtered, pitched, and manipulated vastly to make the basic foundation. On that base all the rest of the sounds were layer (over 200 different layers -- manipulated, mixed down, rebuilt, remixed, manipulated). I mostly work be happenstance and never take notes -- often what comes about is as much by chance as by design.

Piece for string quartet that explores the portuguese myth of the galo de barcelos. Recorded using logic pro x and motu symphonic instrument. A remix of this piece was included in the queerstory app for world pride 2014 as accompaniment for a locative video piece called "allan gardens. ".

This is from a library of sounds i call "pet sounds", after the plastic material pet that's mainly used for water bottles. This library contains various sounds/loops created by using waste plastic in an attempt to give this noxious material at least some useful purpose by acoustically "upcycling" it.

Sitting in a grassy lunch area outside a business's parking lot. Birds are chirping in the trees and ambient outdoor noise (air, breeze, distant geese, far off freeway traffic) sounds throughout. A red-winged blackbird calls around 36 seconds in.
