I tried to originally make the sound of a train speeding up in an 8-bit style, but it sounded more like the sound guardian scouts make in "the legend of zelda: breath of the wild" when they charge up their laser, so i renamed the sound. My take on a level-up sound i remembered from the past should be like today. Recorded on a zoom h2 of a large bell originally.

What it would sound like if the power generator of a starship cruiser was vocoded through a human woman saying "ahhhhhhhhh" continuously. 4 different power levels / variations in the same. Wav. 24 bit48khz.

This is the closest i could get to the ambient sound of a borg cube. I tried hard to replicate it and this is the end result. Originally recorded on an old zoom h2.

This is one of those sound effects you kind of go "huh?" about when you hear. Let me explain what this is and how i imagine it being used. To me, it sounded like a good sound effect for when a computer (whether in a game or animation or whatever) screen starts writing down text (in other words, when a message is displayed on a screen and is written down one letter at a time until the complete message is shown). There are two versions here. The first one fades out (to be used a single time), and the second one is loopable (so you can loop it to make it last longer). Instruments used for sounddesign: pro 53 (sound of car and wind) and the freeware synthesizer da hornet (artificial horror sound). Slow lfos, filter and pwm modulation,3 voice unisono, internal chorus fx (pro 53), no additional effects, faded out. Da hornet - fast pitchmodulation.

Think of a spaceship launching from a desolate planet with hardly any fuel reserves. Sorta heavy distortion with the right amount of phaser and chord progression. Almost moody and atmospheric.

Completely made in sony sound forge 10 with the fm tools. Starts off with a sine 6,000 hz to ~12,000 hz in about three seconds to emulate a camera flash warming up. For those who intend to use it as a part of a futuristic weapon in games, flashes, or movies, i also added a double beep as a "weapon ready" cue and final tone at the for an optional "locked on" which could also double as an error beep.
